There's something magical about stumbling upon a restaurant tucked away in a quiet alley, and Konoba TRS is exactly that kind of find. Nestled in the heart of the old town's cobblestone streets, this intimate konoba has become one of my favorite dining spots in Croatia.

The Setting

The moment you step inside, you're greeted by beautiful exposed stone walls that speak to the building's heritage, combined with elegant, modern touches. But the real treasure? The secluded outdoor terrace. Shaded and peaceful, it's the perfect escape from the bustling streets just steps away – ideal for a romantic dinner or a quiet evening with friends.

The Food

The kitchen at Konoba TRS takes traditional Mediterranean cuisine and elevates it with subtle modern influences. I was particularly impressed by their cod fillet served with creamy mashed potatoes and a vibrant beetroot powder – a dish that was as beautiful as it was delicious. The menu is intentionally small, focusing on quality over quantity, and their three-course tasting menus offer an excellent way to experience the chef's creativity.
